I liked the idea of a dystopian world with a bear shifter and the premise was unique; even though it felt like an episode of the Walking Dead minus the zombies. I was a little annoyed Gina kept saying Dean had the intuition and skills to keep them safe but then she would get them in trouble again by not listening. There were a lot of editing errors, major plot problems and the end tried to be misleading but it just made me page back to see if I'd missed anything. I don't like Kindle Unlimited word dumps so I didn't read the extra 90% of the download and deleted it. The story didn't warrant the space it took up.Product details

Bears, Bears and Still More Bears! When I purchased Bear Fallout I thought I was purchasing 1 book. Surprise! There was actually a cornucopia of bear themed series. What an unexpected treat! There were so many bear stories, that it has taken me quite a while to finished them all. I certainly got my money's worth. The titled story, the post-apocalyptic Bear Fallout seemed to me to be a departure for the author. It was, however, a good start on a new series and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
The end of the world as we know it. I am not usually a fan of post apocalypse type stories but do enjoy the shifter stories of Becca Fanning and gave this a try. Survivalist bear shifter emerges from his bunker to find a wrecked car containing a woman and her dog. Dean, Gina and Petey the dog embark on a journey of survival that has them trying to pull together to find the answers as to why the government was bombing its own people. Along the way they face many obstacles including a growing attraction. The story is well developed as are the characters. At times I wanted to tell Gina to stop being a brat and listen to Dean instead of putting them in danger by her actions. I received and voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book.
Dr. Gina was hard at work in an underground morgue when the apocalyse hit. Pretty hard to miss your own country dropping nuclear bombs on itself.
Bear shifter Dean had been hiding from the law for two years in his grandfather’s underground bunker. He knew about the bombing but hadn’t seen or spoken to another human during those two years.
Two unlikely premises, some odd editing, and a lot of steamy sex. While the US disintegrates.
The book was free.
A little note before I start the story your buying is only 17% of the book the rest? Is more of her books free! An amazing gift.
Gina flynnt is a doctor stuck in the morgue. While the hospital is closing down there cutting hours so she is the only one around in her department the others are at the 4th of July celebration then something odd happens. The city is on fire and people are looting. So she packs her car and runs for the hills.
Dean is a bear shifter hiding out in his grandpa's bunker in the woods when the news comes over the radio and then nothing. The next day he hears a car wreck and saves the girl. That's the start of thier crazy adventure in this new dystopia world. They have each other. Oh and Petey the dog.
Super great story with lots of great action and storyline. Love the characters

Finally Ms. Fanning has written a longer story that I could really sink into. I have been wanting her to do so since I first discovered her bear stories and I am as pleased as punch. Gina is a doctor who finds herself in the middle of a bombing site though she doesn't know that. She rushes from the hospital where she has been working in the morgue to discover that her whole home town is nothing but fires as each house she passes she rushes to hopefully rescue her dog Petey. Luckily she was able to do so then while on the run she gets shot while driving her car which causes her to crash near Dean the bear shifter's bunker. That is just the beginning of this story. I loved the action, drama and the growing romance between Dean and Gina.

I received this book and could not put it down I loved it! This is a book related to what could happen in a apocalyptic .Gina Flynnt is a doctor on the run trying to find some place safe after the town she is in is bombed. At first she thought it was fireworks from the 4th of July celebrations as she is working in the hospital morgue but when she gets upstairs she realized what had happened. She goes home gets her dog and flees but she gets into an lone car accident and is rescued by Dean Ward a man in hiding . What has happened? Why is Dean hiding? In this book you will find people trying to survive others with evil intent and two people trying the best they can to find some place safe.
AMAZING! Dean and Gina are a couple going through a lot, to say the least. The book starts on the Fourth Of July, Independence Day in The United States and it starts with a BANG! The Apocalypse is on! Gina is on her own with her dog Petey and literally crashes into Dean. Dean is already in survival mode with a bunker that is outfitted with everything. The Apocalypse brings out the best and worst in people. This dystopian novel is one of the ones with a description of what it is like to survive and not know what is going on anywhere in the world but Dean, Gina, and Petey do make it back to "civilization" but their adventures are harrowing. This book has action, adventure, romance, and suspense. A very good read with a good plot and dialogue.
