Wow! Admittedly I wasn't sure about this book as it didn't immediately pick up where the last book left off. It was ingenious how the author merged all of the characters, this book and the first. The story is compelling, pulling me in from the beginning to the end and now I'm left wanting the next book already! The entire story and dialogue was believable, so well written. Bravo!Cannot say enough about this book, however, the first is a must read in order to appreciate the merger of these two stories. Furthermore the first book's characters are endearing unto themselves therefore to miss out on that part would be a loss. Finally the first book's characters story isn't complete even in this installment of the series.

It seems that each book I read the better it gets. I love the idea that the writer doesn't fall into the blood thirst wanting to rape everybody biker gang like I have read in so many zombie novels. This writer has tact and I have enjoyed both her books now. I can only wait for the next one.
Another good series. Need more and hate having to wait. Not sure why all authors insist on cutting these books so short then making u wait. Great though
I enjoyed the way the author wove two different story lines together in this one. We get more depth on our existing folks and more than enough on the new ones to care about what happens to them. Keep it up!
Another amazing read from L.I. Albemont! I am so glad I found these books and this writer! Cannot wait to dive into book 3!
I love this book I read the first one and this one in three days and I had no idea that I was at the end that is not fair what happens next I have come to love the characters such a well written piece of work I hope there is another story in the works I need to know what happens to Brian
This follow-up to "Contagion A Novel of The Living Dead" is really a totally different novel. All of the characters are different and the story follows these new characters through the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse. Reasonably decent story, nothing all that special, the earthquake and Chinese subplots are not very interesting and really add nothing to the story. Still worth a look.
I didn't read the first in the series, Contagion, but World Without End stands well on its own.
Historical excerpts are woven nicely throughout the story.
The author is a great story teller. There were a few typos and grammar problems, but not enough to affect the rating.
5 stars. An enjoyable read, and I look forward to the sequel.
